Trump towers in New York caught on fire and ended up killing one person and injuring six more. The person killed was the resident of the apartment, and the injured were firefighters who sustained minor injuries. It was contained to the 50th floor of the tower and trump tweeted that because the building was well built and the firefighters were well-trained that the fire was minor and enclosed. The president's residents is the top three floors of the tower, but none of his family or him were there when this took place. The cause is unknown at the time, but investigations are pending.
Some people are saying this could have been an attempt on the president's life which is connected to the numerous presidential assassinations and attempted assassinations that have happened in history. Including JFK, Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley.

Olivia Wall- Wow that is crazy, and very weird if attempted assassination since we have never been alive during a time when there was one.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this was just a random fire or (like you said) a planned event. I'm not sure how well trump tower is constructed, but it seems suspicious that a building so expensive would be at risk for fires.
