Today Many survivors from the parkland shooting returned, but many didn't expect this. Many stated that they felt like they were in prison. They were introduced with a mandatory see through back pack and new id badges, which they have to wear at all times. Students were reminded of the shooting with the new security rules that were put in place. Many feel like they gave up their privacy. Students are still saying that justice isn't served and they still feel like things can be different.

I think that the security measures are some what reasonable. The IDs are understandable but i dont think the clear backpacks are the best. Yes i understand that people cant check every single zipper because it takes time but if the students feel like they gave up their privacy than??? I also read an article that said to get rid of backpacks all together so maybe the see through isn't that bad!

  1. I wrote about the same subject, and I feel like it's excessive what they are doing, but SOMETIMES it's the best option.

  2. I think what they are doing is necessary for right now but should be rethought later

  3. I agree that ID badges should be enforced, but as far as clear backpacks go, I don't really agree. The students already went through enough so maybe to balance it out bag checks should be more thorough.
