Jordan Jimenez - Trump and Border Legislation

Trump has demanded for Congress to pass a new border legislation that uses the "Nuclear Option if necessary" to get it through Senate. This isn't the first time he's asked for that option though, as he's requested it and changed Senate rules to stop the filibuster. The Senate Majority Leader, however, has dismissed that option in the past, saying, "Republicans will welcome the filibuster when they return to being the Senate minority." Regardless, Trump is persistent as ever to twitter as per usual to unleash his opinions on immigration from Florida, where he threatened to pull out of a free trade agreement with Mexico unless they make more of an effort to stop people crossing into the U.S, mentioning how much he wants to build his wall for the millionth time at the end.
At this point, I wish I had a dollar for every time Trump has mentioned his dang wall. That aside, I'm not too sure what to think about all this because in all honesty, I really don't know too much about this topic and have to read up more on it. From what I do know, though, I don't think it's right to just kick out thousands of immigrants who came here when they were young just because they wanted a better life. I also think a wall is dumb and Trump could spend that money on so many better things that could help the U.S. :/ All in all, I don't know what will happen with this stuff since Trump is so whack, and I just hope the people who will be affected by it will be okay.
