A 39-year-old woman,
Nasim Aghdam, walked into the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, CA and shot four people before shooting and killing herself. When examining active shootings from 20003 to 2013 the FBI found that only 3.8% of shootings involved female shooters. The motives of Aghdam have not yet been announced, but family says that she was angry because she thought that YouTube was censoring her channel. A disturbing number of people took to twitter to invoke "toxic femininity."
People do stupid things for even stupider reasons. I'm just glad that no one was killed but seriously "toxic femininity." Those are the words of ignorance and closed minded fools. Feminism is the avocation of women's rights on the bases of equality of the sexes. People really need to step away from their mainstream concept of what they think feminism is and learn a little.

People could have lost their lives because of a completely invalid reason. I agree that people need to quit misusing mainstream concepts because it only allows more ignorant people to follow.
