16 year old, Kyle Plush passed away from a car accident (literally). He was on his way to a tennis match, and when he reached in the back for his tennis gear, the seat somehow flipped and pinned him down. His chest was being pushed down by the seat and had no where to move, so he thought quickly to call 911 through Siri. After the dispatcher picking up the phone, he pleaded for help, because he was clearly in the process of dying due asphyxiation. Despite the fact that he placed a series of calls, no one showed up and he eventually passed away.
Technology has been improving since the first telephone was created by Alexander Grahambell. If Siri wasn't able to understand his command, no one would've known that he was even in danger at that moment. I think it's important that, even though sometimes these gadgets are annoying/ costly, they keep upgrading in what they can do.
Throughout history, using technology has been a positive and negative thing. Factories need all the little "unnecessary" switches and buttons because they can potentially save a life one day.

DeleteWow haha this makes me scared to drive my car now. I feel sorry for that young man. I do believe that technology is a blessing yet a curse. I just wish the paramedics would've showed up.
