Since the beginning of President Trump’s administration, staff departures have risen to 34%. Even into the second year, some staff members are leaving without a real reason. Because of all the vacancies, Trump has struggled to replace everyone. Even Republicans are hesitant to accept jobs because his administration has been so unstable.

Shouldn’t we take it as a sign that the people who work closest to our president are resigning? Even people in his own party don’t like him. As a nation, I don’t understand how we are supposed to connect and rely on a person who can’t fill jobs for the people who are supposed to support him. We’ve seen in the past how a president who is disconnected from the people can affect the government and nation (Harding) and it shouldn’t be any different now. Of course, this is no reason to be hostile or rude towards him now, but we must take this into consideration for the next election.
