Demonstrators flooded the streets across the world in public protests on Saturday, calling for action against gun violence.
More than 800 protests were planned in every American state, including in some gun-friendly cities. Planning for the events was taken on by a group of students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida who are now national anti-gun figures. In New York, marchers were in bright orange which is the official color of a gun control advocacy group.
As always history repeats itself. Many people are fed up because it continues to happen and no changes are being made. There have been more than 180 shootings on school campuses that resulted in an injury or death in the U.S. since Sandy Hook and that’s because no laws are being changed and it will continue to happen until our government listens and when we get killed in our classes, homes and churches we demand change and we dont stop till we get it.
