14 states in the EU, as well as the United states, Canada, and Ukraine, are forming a combined effort to re-locate several Russian diplomats out of their country. This is the result of a diplomatic operation organized by the United Kingdom, who blames Russia for the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter. With England expelling 23 Russian diplomats, Moscow was forced to respond by sending the same number of English diplomats home. The President of Ukraine, already familiar with Russian hostility, has promised to expel 13 diplomats. The United States pledges to expel 60 total Russian diplomats deemed intelligence officers, with 12 of them holding occupation in the United Nations, New York. Putin continues to deny any validation for these actions. He also remains in denial of the Russian troops stationed in Syria and Ukraine. The actions taken by specifically the United States are the strongest steps we've taken since Trump's election to stop Russia's manipulation of our information flow and infrastructure. However, Putin has yet to receive the message.

This reminds me of the Cold War and the 2nd red scare in the united states during and leading up to the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.
