SXSW bomb threat forces cancellation of The Roots concert

Austin isn’t a stranger to bomb threats. Since March second, three bombs have detonated in the town. However, more bomb threats are showing up. A major concert, Bud Light X The Roots and Friends Jam, was canceled due to a bomb threat being emailed to a representative. This left many concertgoers upset, but definitely safer. Bud light ensured everyone that this was their primary concern.

I find it terrifying that this is what we have to worry about every day. Since police haven’t found a motive for the bombings, all we have to assume is that they’re killing for fun. I understand that these weapons were meant for wars and killing, but I hate that the knowledge and resources are available for these people to replicate and make weapons of destruction. However, I do like that Bud Light stood up and recognized that there was a problem. If other companies and authoritative figures took action like Bud Light did, there would probably be less injury and casualty from mass shootings and bombings.
