Fire exits blocked in Russian shopping mall devastated by blaze
By Hilary Clarke and Mary Ilyushina
Summary: Many people in Siberia protested a full investigation into what really happened at the shopping mall fire on the 25th of March. Many (dozens) of people died from this fire. It broke out from the fourth story of a building in Kemerovo. Russian President Putin recognized the tragic event and flew out to the city on the 27th. He wondered where to place the blame and consoled victims. Official will be checked to get to the bottom of what happened. Carelessness seems to be a factor considered.
Analysis: This event is very tragic and also the fact that no one knows what caused this... is even more tragic. The amount of chaos shown trying to get out of the building was unbelievable. The simple facts of exits not being completely available and convenient, makes the 64 deaths seem like they could've been avoided: making this article even more heartbreaking. This relates to the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire in Apush.
