Austin police have been warning the public to not approach packages, boxes, and backpacks because within the last 17 days there has been four bombings. Since these bombings, two people have been found dead. Authorities are offering a six figure reward for information leading to an arrest in the bombings.
The first three package bombs were left on people's doorsteps and porches and they either killed or injured minorities. The fourth bomb though, was left on the side of the rode in a predominantly white neighborhood and may have been triggered by a tripwire. Investigators suspect a serial bomber is behind all of the bombings and violence.

This is horrifying, especially since these violent acts are directed towards minority families. People that say racism is not prevalent in modern society are blind.
ReplyDeleteI think this is very cruel due to the fact that this bomber is harming random people. I have family in Austin which is very concerning for me. I can't imagine what these people are going through. This is like the Underground Railroad where slaves or victims of today are constantly living in fear of being caught by a bomb.
