Throughout history since New York boomed in the 1800's, it has been a hotspot for creation and fashion. Along with the industrial revolution, many artists began speaking their mind, which can be seen today in different runway shows and different high brand names. We can see art using in APUSH when the Hudson River School became existent. Art has always been part of culture.

Alexander Wang is a huge fashion icon and has recently announced that he will no longer be showing his lines in New York Fashion week, which comes as a huge shock. However, he is following the footsteps of four other designers in his generation. There has been a lot of talk that fashion is changing, and that the traditional way of looking at fashion doesn't fit into this new technological way of presenting fashion. Mr. Wang left his second job as the creative director of Balenciaga in 2015, so people are surprised that he has also announced his departure from high fashion in this manner.

I love how you connected this to apush. I wonder why he's resigning from the fashion spotlight. It seems like such an amazing experience to be able to share your talent this way.
