A Canadian judge ruled that a Christian family would lose custody of their 2 children because they didn’t want to tell them that the Easter bunny wasn’t real. I think this is absolutely ridiculous and stupid. 1. The parents should have no problem telling their children about the Easter bunny 2. If the parents don’t want to tell their kids that the Easter bunny isn’t real, why does that even matter?? Honestly it doesn’t really effect much of they know or not. But I think taking them away from the parents isnt fair at all.
This connects to history because of the Civil Rights movement when African Americans would be arrested, and killed, and beaten for doing absolutely nothing wrong. They would get severely punished for doing nothing wrong. It’s sad and completely unfair that they would be treated that way.
