"Storms sock the Southeast, killing 2 people" Daria Harper - Pd 2

Summary -

Heavy rain and thunderstorms have washes across the Southeast on Monday, causing severeflash flooding in central Alabama. A nine year old girl in Mississippi was washed away and killed by the almost 7 inches of rain that fell in two days. The powerful winds have knocked down trees, power lines, and caused issues with people's commutes. A tornado touched down in Belhaven, South Carolina, lifting up a pick up truck and injuring a man and his son.

  2. It's crazy to think that so much damage could be done with what started as a storm. It breaks my heart that a nine year old had to meet her end that way.
