Summary -
Heavy rain and thunderstorms have washes across the Southeast on Monday, causing severeflash flooding in central Alabama. A nine year old girl in Mississippi was washed away and killed by the almost 7 inches of rain that fell in two days. The powerful winds have knocked down trees, power lines, and caused issues with people's commutes. A tornado touched down in Belhaven, South Carolina, lifting up a pick up truck and injuring a man and his son.
It's horrible to see what these storms do to our homes.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy to think that so much damage could be done with what started as a storm. It breaks my heart that a nine year old had to meet her end that way.
ReplyDeleteAm so glad we don't get bad weather like this here but it's still sad to here about the little girl dying.
