Leslie Kelly: New Study Shows Dream App Helps People Craft Dreams and Wake Up Happier

A new study suggests that the sounds you hear as you sleep will help influence your dreams, and a professor over in the UK has turned this study into an iPhone app. The app has a variety of different sounds to go off while you sleep and according to many customers the sounds do change the course of their dreams, which are encouraged to be recorded in a dream journal. The app's inventor, Professor Richard Wiseman is a respected psychologist who also hopes that his app may help those suffering from depression, which has been known to have long, drawn-out nightmares as a symptom. I'd actually really like to try this. I usually have pretty mild dreams that I don't remember but if I can make it to where I dream about chilling in a garden every night I'd be okay with that. Although I have a feeling this would drain your battery like crazy.
