The little Boy On The Plane Story Jack Mckay

Summary: In Minneapolis, a nine year old boy was caught by himself on a plane to Las Vegas. Security tapes show him at the gate talking to a Delta agent and while they look away, the boy sneaks on. In an interview, the boys father admits he has behavior issues but that when he asked for help, no one stepped up. He also says this isn't the first thing he's done of this manner.

Analysis: I think it would take more than behavioral issues to make such a young boy do such a crazy thing. It said in the interview that the family once sneaked him into a water park with out paying and that he once stole a tractor. I believe it's not just the boy the boys behavior issues but also the parents influence on the child and how they have raised him. By setting bad examples and not taking proper precautions about his issues, they have lead to this incident. I'm not a parent, but I have been a child and I can say that my actions and the little voice inside my head are based on what my parents say and do and how they think. So when this boy misbehaves to the level that he does, its not only his fault but his parents fault.

  1. aside from the child's behavior, its extremely alarming to me that someone, if trying hard enough, can sneak onto a plane. This presents numerous dangers in our air travel system, and clearly uncovers many flaws in the security of such facilities.

  2. I don't understand how anyone, especially a child, is able to sneak onto a plane; it's very scary to think that anyone could be able to do this. The child's parents should have been looking after him and if the father says that he has behavior issues then he really should have been watched more carefully.
