Summary: A
man open fired at a Hmong New Years celebration at the Green County Event
Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday night. The Hmongs are an Asian ethnic group who
were important friends with the United States during the Vietnam War. Many of them left the communist government
when the war was over. There are an
estimated 210,000 Hmongs living in various places in the United States.
This shooting ended up
injuring five people. Police don’t know what caused the man to begin shooting,
but they arrested the man that did it. “Two attendees were hit in the upper body, while
the other three were struck in the arm and leg,” said Tulsa Police Capt. Mike
Williams. The victims were all between the
ages 30 and 60.
“A police helicopter that happened to be flying by
saw a vehicle leaving the area. When officers tried to stop the car, they saw a
passenger changing clothes, then throwing his hoodie and a gun from the car,”
Williams said.
Police believe that 19-year-old Ming Mee was the shooter
and the driver of the car was 21-year-old Boon Mee.
Analysis:
There are some sick people in the world, and I don’t understand how anyone
could just take the lives of random innocent people. What if there were small children that had
been killed? If the two people that were
arrested for this crime are found to be guilty, I hope that justice is served
and they pay for this crime. I couldn’t
imagine why any sane person would do something like this.

We did the exact same article, and I couldn't agree with you more on your analysis. I don't understand have someone could just walk up into a place an open fire with no concern if they hurt innocent people or not. It's sickening,

This is terrible. At least they think they know who did the shooting. I agree with you; I hope that if they shot those innocent people, that justice should be served to them.
