Current Event #7
On Sunday October 13, AnneClaire Stapleton, wrote an article about an event that happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On New Year's a man walked into a Hmong celebration with open fire. He injured five people: to were struck in the upper body, while 3 more were just hit in the arm and leg. One of the injured may lose his leg. The shooter, 19 year old Ming Mee, was spotted by a helicopter changing clothes and throwing his gun from the car . He and his driving accomplice Boon Mee, were arrested on the spot. "Authorities don't what caused he man to begin shooting."
I find this story so strange. I will never understand what would provoke anybody to just ruin a celebration , shooting people. I can't believe this person would just walk in, start shooting, and walk out like nothing happened. Also the fact that he tried to change clothes and get rid of the evidence shows that he was just a coward. I'm glad the police found him and put him in jail where he needs to be.
