The FBI raised the office of Trump’s long time attorney, Michael Cohen. They seized documents, emails, and information relating to the payment of adult film star Stormi Daniels. A very angry Trump was say that the raid was a “break in”, even though it definitively was not as they had a search warrant. Cohen’s lawyer also reportedly called the search “inappropriate”. It is unclear, so far, if the raid is directly related to Muellers investigation, but likely resulted from info revealed during the investigation. The scrutiny seems to follow Trump around, what with his son in law, the former security advisor, and now his lawyer under investigation.
I immediately associated the whole trump investigation/stormi Daniels situation with the Watergate Scandal, and from a more surface level the Domino Theory.As in the Trump dominos are starting to fall, one after the other (H.R. McMaster, Rex Tillerson, John McEntee, Gary Cohn, Hope Hicks, Rob Porter, the list goes on). I related the Water Scandal more so because of the cover up efforts.
