Around 6pm Saturday Fire broke out on the 50th floor of the Trump tower in New York City. Trump then took to Twitter, (as usual) and boasted about the strong conditions of Trump tower withstanding the fire. Later officials announced that Trump Tower resident, Todd Brassner, had passed away at Mount Sinai hospital because of the fire. Trump has been silent since and has had no mention of the death of Todd Brassner.
Amy B Wang of Washington Post created this article. I have little knowledge about the article. I was aware of the fire in Trump Tower from social media but I did no knowledge of the death from the fire. This article was to inform us that out Trump will only boast about something when it comes towards the benefit of himself, since he has yet to mention the death of Todd Brassner. This can relate to how the government lied to the U.S. citizens about everything being okay during the Vietnam War, leading to mistrust between government and the people.
