Painting found in Iowa closet worth millions - Sam Wood

Robert Warren (executive director of Hoyt Sherman Place) was digging through his art closet when he stumbled across a painting that he said "didn't look like much". He eventually figured out that the painting was by a 16th century dutch painter named Otto van Veen. The value is said to be over 4 million dollars. He said he had no intention of selling the painting. He also said he will display it in his gallery once it gets good enough security.

I think this story is incredible. I just can't believe how lucky Robert Warren was to stumble across such a rare old valuable painting. I also can't believe it was sitting in the closet since the early 1900s and has not been discovered.
