Gas Attack in Syria: Hannah Karim

Several Syrian activist groups Saturday reported that a brutal attack on the remnants of the rebel-held city of Douma in Eastern Ghouta left dozens of civilians dead and scores wounded. The groups - including the White Helmets, the Douma Coordination Committee and the Ghouta Media Center - said toxic gas inside barrel bombs dropped by helicopters over Douma caused people to suffocate and choke.
This shows that our country needs to take further steps to reach out and help countries in need around the world. Syria is struggling more often then not and they really need our assistance in their times of need. We have so much power and influence as the United States of America and we need to spread the to give back to as many people, countries, and places as we can.

  1. Civil unrest and constant war and shifts of power lead to so much instability within the Middle East, it takes courage and risk but the US should try to ensure a stable government within for the sake of the citizens and those around them.

  2. I agree that Syria needs our help, the way they are being treated is awful and undeserved.

  3. It is horrible that Syria bombs their own country and civilians and I hope the activists find a way to escape this country.
