Cassandra Damper, a Houston woman was initially charged with tampering or fabricating of evidence that put Devyn Holmes into critical condition on Sunday. In a Facebook Live video, she picks up a loaded gun and waves it around the car and when the victim says its making him nervous, a person in the backseat says that it isn't loaded. Later in the video, she shoots Devyn, and he is now hospitalized and in critical condition.Today, prosecutors announced that a charge of aggravated assault with serious bodily injury has also been filed against her.
In my opinion, this is more evidence that we need stronger laws limiting access to fire arms. This person should have never had access to a gun if she didn't know it was a bad idea to wave a loaded gun around.
