FBI agents raided the office of President Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to find evidence in the ongoing Russia investigation. Trump's remarks claimed that the special council was conducting a "total witch hunt." He then called the raid a "real disgrace", and "an attack on our country in a true sense". He also hinted he's considering firing Robert Mueller.
The raid on the lawyer's office is not "an attack on our country." It's a very real statement that something very bad happened in the 2016 presidential campaign and no one, not even the President of the United States, is above the law.

As aggravating as it might be to be in this situation, the president should have reacted in a different way. The agents are only trying to do their job and Trump needs to avoid being accused of obstruction of justice if he is innocent.
ReplyDeleteTrump is too quick to jump the gun. I think he overreacted in this situation.
