Ashley Mendoza- Russian reporter's death

Maxim Borodin, a young Russian reporter who covered stories about dying mercenaries in Syria, had been found at the bottom of his flat by neighbors. Since no suicide letter was found and a friend said that his home had been surrounded by security, it's possible that foul play may be involved. Borodin was found severely injured and rushed to the hospital, where he later died. In Russia journalists are often harassed or attacked, which would lead many to think that this incident was probably caused by someone else rather than a suicide. Many other journalists and editors, in Russia, have died from assault and other inflicted injuries, for spreading the truth and openly criticizing the government.
The lack of the freedom of the press in Russia, makes it easier for the government to mislead and manipulate the citizens, like how Lyndon B. Johnson lied about the state of the Vietnam War.The people and press should be allowed to speak the truth, as long as it's true, to educate the people around them.
