Dip For Democrats: Oh How the Tables Have Turned by Jules Stowe
A whopping 21 House Districts have opted in favor for the Democratic Party. Fundraising and polling numbers will soon take a plummet, even in seats presumed to be safe. Some Democratic incumbents have moved completely off the lists, including Claudia Tenney, a fan fave. There are 15 spots occupied by Democrats, which threaten the 24 seat Republican majority. This means that Democrats will have a significantly more leeway as they try to gain two dozen seats.
Between 1860 and 1936, the Democratic party switched with the Republican parties in name due to shifting preferences to government sizes. Republicans didn't immediately accept the switch which in turn caused an augmented federal government devoted in various ways to social justice. We may see something similar occurring soon.
