The article above depicts the gruesome loss of 3 patients to mold infections. The article says that there have been three patients that have received organ transplants that have died due to mold infections. Two of them died in the same room. They then later had the room checked out and found mold in different places. Peculiarly, they didn't know where it came from.
This is honestly terrifying. Even though the article states that it is not a threat to humans with regularly working immune systems, it still makes you wonder. You don't realize that there are little things that can infect you and then ultimately kill you. I understand that these cases are very rare but they are truly eye-openers. That is for me at least. It was a very interesting read.
I agree, because something so small as that, how could anyone know if they were infected until it was to late. I guess its just about being at the rught place at the right time.

It's a scary thought that you could die at anytime from anything. Mold is gross but we never think of it as something that could kill us!
