When we first introduce ourselves, our names are like titles. Although the saying is don't judge a book by it's cover can you change the cover even if it doesn't change the book? Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young tweets, "I'm Nicholas this season. Call me Nicholas." Some journalists claimed that getting ready to marry Iggy Azalea "changes a man and forces him to mature." This topic is even overshadowing the return of a teammate that is going to soon become a good duo. They even say that the title Nicholas might even get ride of his other nickname Swaggy P. I feel like people are over exaggerating about a minor name change. I do not think this is the end of and iconic era, as they question. I feel like people should be able to go by whatever title they prefer. Just because he wants to change what people call him doesn't mean he is maturing because of marriage. Nicholas might be his birth name and he is tired of people over using his nickname as if they truly know him.

I completely agree with your view point! What does a name say about his maturity? He's probably just trying something different.
ReplyDeletethis is so true! like just because he using his birth title doesn't mean he's changing his personality or anything
