Texas church turned into a memorial after mass shooting

When members of a church in Texas, First Baptist church of Sutherland Springs, came back for the first time since the tragic shooting, they saw that it had been turned into a memorial. The mass shooting killed 25 members of the church. The church was transformed into a sanctuary on Sunday evening for people to grieve and celebrate life. There was a rose on each chair: representing those whose lives were taken.
I think it is so awful that these people had their lives taken for practicing what they believe. This relates to apush because of the 1st amendment which includes freedom of religion. Killing other people because they carry different beliefs is completely absurd and shouldn't be an issue our country has to face. I hope the memorial left some of the victim's families with a little peace of mind and helped them to cope. I think it was such a nice idea to transform the church to help out the families. Even though they couldn't be with the people they lost, they could be surrounded with others that love them.
