In Rhode Island, a mother of three had sued YMCA for not allowing her to breastfeed in public and was allegedly kicked out of the establishment for not following the rules set. The settlement reached fell in favor of the plaintiff, as YMCA has vowed to strive for areas for mothers to breastfeed their children. Further information regarding the settlement has not been disclosed with the public just yet.
I'm a bit conflicted with the initial rules of the YMCA regarding breastfeeding on premise. I personally believe that, if the action itself is not causing a scene (which it most definitely shouldn't be) then they shouldn't have had a problem in the first place.
