"Suspect shot by police at The Parks at Arlington pointed replica gun at officer, police say"
This past Sunday, two on-duty police officers in Arlington responded to a report of theft at the Sunglass hut (at the parks at arlington mall). When the police officers confronted the man (thief) he pulled out a (fake) gun. (The police officers did not know that it was fake at the time) While all this was taking place, the mall was VERY crowded. These officers needed to think fast. They needed to think about what would be best for the citizens surrounding this craziness. Believing that it was a real gun, one of the officers shot the man. He is now in the hospital.
