Surveillance videos have been found from Penn State Fraternity house where 19 year old pledge recently died after being given 18 drinks within 90 minuets. Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller charged 17 total Beta Theta Pi brothers and pledges. The 19 year old, Timothy Piazza fell down a set of stairs which caused fatal injuries due to pledges being forced to down a dangerous amount of alcohol.
The video was deleted after Fraternity members were aware of the investigation, However, the police were able to recover the footage. I think that this was awful and despicable and I'm glad to see them prosecuted. Hazing is dangerous and stupid and its time people learn their lesson. Penalties ranged from probation to expulsion, Penn State has said.
