North Korea defector found to have enormous parasites- Chloe Walker

A North Korean soilder who was fleeing across the border was shot & found to have an extremely high level of parasites in his intestines. Doctors found numerous worms inside the soilders body. Sadly the doctors in North Korea are poorly and do not have resources to a modern medical system. Poor nutrition and diets, such as uncooked vegetables, have been linked to growth of parasites in the country. North Korea however does not admit to their poor healthy and nutrition.

I had small knowledge on bacteria and parasites.   It influenced my interpretation of the article because I know how deadly and dangerous these diseases could be. This article was made to inform those outside North Korea to be made aware of the health issues in the country. This article is important because it makes us aware how far N. Korea is from modern technologies.
