Over the last week there has been many fires hitting California. These aren’t small fires either. There are big swamping fires taking us acres of land. The names of these fires are the Tomas Fire, Creek Fire, Rye Fire, Skirball Fire, Lilac Fire, and the Liberty Fire. They started monday and are still going on right now. Lots of people have been forced to leave their home because the fire was too close to them or simply because their house got burnt down by the fires. They have been forced to close down schools because of how bad they are and how bad they are making the air. The firefighters are working very hard to get these fires under control and put out.
I hope everyone got out safe and are safe. The geography of California is nothing but hills and mountains that ca so easily catch on fire. It's just horrible about how fast it can spread and how bad it can really get.
