Dak Prescott Wants to Share Rookie of the Year With Zeke Elliott - Sydney Bridgeforth

Dak Prescott was named the Offensive NFL's Rookie of the Year on Saturday night.  If it were up to him, he would share the award with running back Ezekiel Elliott.  Both had a lot to do with the team's success in 2016.

When Prescott took the stage to accept his award, he brought the former Ohio State Buckeye with him.  He began his acceptance by asking for a knife to cut the award in half.

Prescott passed for 3,667 and 23 touchdowns while throwing only four interceptions during his Rookie Year.  Elliott led the NFL in rushing as a Rookie with 1,631 and 15 touchdowns, setting up a young and exciting dynamic duo.

This article was written by Patrick Murphy on February 5, 2017 at 12:06 pm.  I have never read any other pieces by him prior to reading this current event.  The article was written unbiased and merely presented facts as they took place during the evening.  I typically do not take an interest in football, but I did to this article because here we have two Rookie players who had to win or lose in front of the world and did so unitedly.  Why is it such a challenge for our country and government to not be able to work together?  At the end of the day, we are ALL on the same team - TEAM USA. 🇺🇸. A house divided against itself  never succeeded.  Here's to hoping that maybe the Rookies of our government/political system, will team up and help make America the country it was founded upon.
