Summary: Ever since Donald Trumps win of the 2016 election, there has been lots of talk of impeachment. His impeachment is based on two alleged violations: 1- Donald Trump had violated the Emoluments Clause which states " no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State." and 2- The alleged Trump administration's contact with Russia. But these proposals of impeachment have been shot down by republican senators stating that Democrats must have majority in house to impeach anyone.
Analysis: I wish we all could be OK and not have to live in a world where an idiot controls the worlds most powerful country. Trump has proven, within the little time he has been in office, that he makes rash decisions- namely his terrible immigration ban. I wouldn't shed a tear if he was impeached, but if he was that means Pence would have to step in......... So that's great.....
This is very reminiscent of the tea pot dome scandal of Warren G. Harding and his corruption and his incompetence.
I hope everything will be ok in the end, and it usually is, but we will all have to see.

I still can't believe that people while having the choice to vote, voted for him cause he was Republican or they didn't want a women as president. Now it has come to bite us in the back and hopefully we will think over the candidates for the next election.
ReplyDeleteI highly doubt that this man will be impeached. Trump has done a majority of the things that he has promised to do and he won the election fair and square. The people that voted for him should have to deal with the consequences.
