This article is about President Trump's plans on financial spending. He proposes to cut government spendings on agencies and increase the defense budget, including police, and border patrol. In total the defense budget spendings would increase by a whopping 10%. White House officials declined discussion on the specificities of the plan when asked. Trump said that his plan will propose historic increases in spending to bolster the country’s depleted military.
I personally think that it is an absolutely terrible idea. Why does America need to increase its army if it is already regarded as the most sophisticated and most powerful in the world. In addition Donald Trump is willing to cut spendings on important agencies such as the EPA to carry out his plan. I think that is a huge mistake, and could easily have catastrophic results.
For me, our army is too big as we are putting most of our money away in different countries and not helping our own. Hopefully, someone will put some sense into Trump and help with Americas goal of equality for all.
