Summary: Sunday, a White House spokesperson confirmed that Craig Deare, a senior advisor in the NSC assigned by the Trump Administration, was reassigned to his original position because of his criticism of the Administration's Latin American policies. The spokesperson, Sarah Sanders, asserted that, "If you don't support the President's agenda then you shouldn't have a job in the White House." A statement that may sound innocent, yet is not very well under the surface.
Analysis: This is only a new addition to the list of things that Trump has done that resemble the same steps by a dictator before they consume full control. There have to be people in the government who don't agree with the president because that is normal. The whole point of the system of checks and balances is to check and balance the other branches of the government. And as the president, it's important at least listen. We cannot treat him anything more than a potential dictator.

Wonderful. Now people's jobs are on the line because they wish to voice their opinions.
ReplyDeleteThis is easily connected to the early 1900s around WWI when people's rights to free speech were hindered and the same thing is happening now in a different way.
