This article is about the democrats in the senate who are taking a stand against Trumps cabinet nominations of Tom Price and Steve Mnuchin, as well as attorney general Jeff Session. Democrats in the senate have taken every action possible to delay the voting on these cabinet members, even boycotting the confirmation vote. Most democrats are unhappy with the firing of former attorney general Sally Yates and explain this and the immigration ban as the reason for the boycott.
I think that this boycott is completely justified. I think the firing of Attorney General Sally Yates is completely unconstitutional and on the verge of disrupting democracy. It's not democracy if the people don’t have a say, and people follow the democratic party; so when Trump fired Sally Yates, he was acting in a way that we see at the beginning of a totalitarianism government in that he removed a political rival. I think this is completely unacceptable and even scary. Firing another politician for having a different political view is not democracy.
