The article is explaining how an SNL writer wrote a tweet about Barron Trump resulting in the loss of her job. The tweet was: "Barron will be this country's first homeschool shooter." After the tweet many people were provoked and in result 79,000 people signed a petition for her to be fired. She was fired from SNL, and later tweeted "I sincerely apologize for the insensitive tweet. I deeply regret my actions & offensive words. It was inexcusable & I'm so sorry.
Although I strongly dislike Donald Trump I don't think tag it's fair to bring his ten year old son into it. Barron Trump has no control over his dad or his actions and it is unfair to put some of this ridicule on him for what his Father has done. I am not so sure that it should have cost the writer her job but I do think it was wrong.
Those remarks are despicable. I think that it was more than fair for the writer to be fired. Barron Trump is a young boy and has enough to worry about without having to be called a shooter. That is horrendous. People will stop at nothing these days to demean others that they disagree with.
ReplyDeleteTrump's family should definitely be left out of criticisms of Trump- they aren't the ones signing executive orders, and they aren't the ones with presidential power. Projecting anger at Trump onto his family and verbally attacking them does nothing except spread hate.
