One day an old man was found on the side of the street in Britain with no form of identification and no memory of who he was. He was taken into a care home and went by the name of Roger Curry because he once said that that was his name, although people were not sure if it was correct. Eventually someone posted a photograph of him from high school and police were able to track down an address all the way across the sea and the U.S. to California. When they showed neighbors pictures of him, they said that it was definitely Roger. Later they found that his son, Kevin, had taken him to the UK and left him there. Roger was later taken back to the U.S. and moved into another care home a few miles away from his original home.

Yay! What a heart warming story! I am so glad that this man was found! I hope he is safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteWhat an odd event. It only highlights the need to find more cures to diseases with memory loss. Not to mention the need for better care for these people.
