Summary: Mold was found in bedsheets at two University of Pittsburg Medical Center hospitals, and there have been 5 infection related deaths since October of 2014. A case was filed in January of 2017 by two families of deceased patients who were affected by the mold infections. Experts believe the mold stemmed from wet linens brought into the hospital and were placed near by a vent that circulated the bacteria through the hospital. The main source of infections is through transplants at the hospital, and the medical center is working on identifying and confirming the problem while still continuing to use linens from the source where the mold allegedly arrived from. A more recent discovery tracked the spread of bacteria to not the sheets themselves, but to the ventilation. Experts are continuing to study the hospital.
Analysis: This article was published on January 28, 2017, by Lauren Del Valle, to inform the audience about the ongoing mold outbreak. I think that the hospital should stop receiving linens from the source that started the mold outbreak until they can identify and control the problem. This problem has been going on for 3 years, and there have been 5 deaths. This could only escalate and become worse.
Synthesis: The US Center for Disease Control and Prevention became prominent in around 1961 to stop outbreaks such as this one.

This is scary! I hate hearing stories of people dying in hospitals especially for reasons other then why they were admitted in the first place.
