Hannah Howell- Lying Has Worked For Him Before, Why Stop Now?
Summary:
It is well known that Donald Trump has been caught telling many a lie throughout his lifetime. So why would it be any different after he officially becomes the President of the United States? On Monday, he repeated a false a claim about millions of illegal cast ballots causing him to lose the popular vote. His most recent statement was stated in a speech to the CIA that there were a million and a half people attending his inauguration, though that is not even close to correct.
Analysis:
I think that Trump's ego is part of what causes him to twist the truth like this. He just doesn't seem to want to admit to himself that many people actually don't like him. America within this next 4 years will surely change drastically. We can only wait and see what happens.

ReplyDeleteI agree that his ego is the cause, but I don't believe we should just wait and watch. His ego blinds him from the fact that his actions can be heavily detrimental to the people in and outside of the U.S. We just have to keep on fighting to make sure he one day understands that.

Kiri Luckey: I also agree, Trump has a huge ego and his ego is causing him to tell many lies instead of facing the truth.
ReplyDeleteyes i agree, the level of ego that he has is not helping him, in fact its only making things worse for him.
ReplyDeleteI agree that this is a major problem, but we need to remain optimistic in this situation! I am sure that his policies won't be terribly affected by this problem.
