As Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, protesters made it to the streets to make themselves heard in the nation's capital on Friday. These protestors tried to damage the democratic system that we've had for centuries, these are the people that disrupt peace. Protesters caused damage to city blocks along with disrupting security checkpoints at Donald Trump's inauguration, some clashes with police were reported.
The Protestors that decided to disrupt a peaceful inauguration are a threat to our democracy, it shouldn't be about causing damage and harm to get a message across. People have every right to protest something, however, there's a difference between riots and a peaceful protest. The results of the Election should be taken peacefully. There is no place for violence at a presidential election! Get your message across some other way, other than vandalizing the place you live. We've seen peaceful protests before in the 60's with the Greensboro sit-in's.

I totally agree and understand your perspective. Even Martin Luther King Jr, who had a much larger issue to deal with did not resort to violence when else protested for the Civil Rights Movement.
