Weight of the union: Obesity by state by M'Lynn Musgrove

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/21/health/obesity-state-by-state/index.html

This article, written by Nadia Kounage from CNN, was written because the new statistics have come in about American obesity and ranking. Arkansas, West Virginia, and Mississippi were the new most obese cities. Studies have shown that over 35% of their overall adult population is obese. Hawaii and Colorado were among the lowest. This is becoming a large issue not only to adults but to children. As we all know, many other diseases such as diabetes can sprout from obesity. Healthcare can almost double because of it.
I fell like it is almost expected for most southern states to be more obese because we are known for our comfort food (:!!!! Send help to the south.
