Our district attorney, Susan Hawk, will be gone from her job for four weeks as of next week. The reasoning for her absence was a vague description that she is depressed and therefore she needs medical attention for these four weeks. Not only has she been absent from her work for a lengthy amount of time, all throughout her term as DA she has taken lengthy breaks with vague descriptions such as back surgery, time off, and summer vacations.
I feel that after this many disappearances, Susan Hawk should be taken out of office and replaced by someone who actually has some interest in performing at all in the job. For many periods of time she has been gone, and to tell you the truth I am surprised that no one has investigated in very deeply. This may be the conspiracy theorist in me that so often shows in these posts, but I feel that it is obvious that she is not really telling the whole truth.
