Qiaunci Jones- May Day violence?

A gentler police response does not stop those bent on disruption and damages, and organizers haven't been able to contain them. The lesson learned is that the sooner police act to diminish violent behavior, the better they can minimize property damage and harm to others.
Blame those who show up in hoods and masks promoting riot and destruction, not police action trying to prevent it.Thank you, Portland Police Bureau.

Ummmmm, so basically the police in Portland are saying that it's not they fault that got too aggressive on the people protesting because it's their fault. Sometimes, police are trash, like there's always gone be protest from people and if you can't stop violence without committing violence then don't be a police officer. That's my option. It's important because the police  isn't that much of a helping force at the moment. This can be synthesized to the civil rights movement and how the police responded to it
