Madilyn Weems - Self Help Africa

https://selfhelpafrica.org/us/uganda/

In this article it discusses how a company called “Self Help Africa” is helping underdeveloped countries in Africa and helping them grow as a nation. They are helping nurture the people with food and supplies, and helping the community grow together with connections. They have also been getting big businesses to help supply money for people to build houses and shelters for those who are living in huts. This relates to the World War One when United States was allowing people who were fleeing to come, and we helped by giving supplies to those who were fighting against communism. This article is truly inspiring in showing ways each person can help all over the world, and help illuminate those who may only see darkness.

  1. I'm so glad people are taking a stand to help people from across the world.

  2. Wow, imagine trying to help less developed countries instead of control them. What a thought. But I like America's system of islamophobia and xenophobia and overwhelming national pride much better.
