Police: Wisconsin girl, 12, stabbed 19 times; friends arrested

Two 12 year old girls, fixated on a wikipedia site that specifically posted horror stories, decided to create their own horror story by luring their friend into the woods by their house and almost stabbing her to death. Fortunately, the young victim crawled to a road and was rescued by a bicyclist and is in stable condition. The two girls who are suspects in the case are being tried as adults for the attempted intentional homicide and the evidence is stacked against them in court.
Their reason for committing the crime was to prove to a fictional character who posted on the website frequently that they were the real deal. They had been planning the attack since February but planned to execute it this past weekend.

This is very sad! I can't believe 12 years old children would plot out a murder and attempt it.
