Ruth Brown Ross, age 92, finally graduated from her Florida high school this weekend. She had dropped out of school during the great depression in order to get married. Her grandkids found out about her regrets about dropping out and talked to the high school board about helping Ruth get her diploma. The board decided to allow Ruth to write an essay about surviving the great depression and she was awarded her diploma.
THis is such a sweet story. Ruth's determination is truly inspiring. Now I want to graduate high school at 92 so that I can have my story inspire others. CONGRATS RUTH!!!
